Where to Begin

Grandpa Nagel's House on July 4th

Grandma & Grandpa St. Joseph's House

Old MacDonald's Petting Farm

Yes, it has been way too long since our last post. Where do I even begin? We started off in Rochester celebrating July 4th at my Dad's house. The girls had a blast playing in the sand, alongwith throwing rocks into the lake.

On July 5th we headed to Watertown to spend the week with Scott's family. We enjoyed lots of yummy homemade food compliments of Grandma. Friends and family visited and we enjoyed a day in the pool. That week we went to the zoo, a jump zone, and a petting farm. The petting farm was the favorite. The girls loved seeing all the animals up close. We took a hay ride and got to feed pigs and horses. We returned to Rochester the following weekend because Daddy had to fly back to Nashville so he could go back to work....yuck! The girls and I were staying for a few more weeks with my family.

We returned to Nashville on August 15th. The girls had not seen their toys in weeks and you would have thought it was Christmas. They pulled every toy out of the toy box even if they were not interested in playing with it. It took us a few days to settle back in and get unpacked.

What has Changed?????????
Jocelyn finally got both of her front teeth. Riley sprouted a few more also. We still have a bunch more to go.

The girls are talking up a storm. I don't think there is a word they can't say. They are putting a few words together to try to talk in sentences. Their vocabulary amazes us everyday.

They now know how to ride their (little) bikes and steer. They love to get going fast.

Not their weight. Even though we have little garbage cans, they do not gain a pound. At 22 months they weigh 22 pounds. They have gained 2 pounds since they have been a year old.

We have put our house on the market and Scott is looking for a job in Rochester. Why do you ask? A few different reasons, but the biggest is because we are expecting baby #3 and we really want to be around our family. The girls love being with their grandparents and cousins and as much as we hate to admit it, we do also. Of course I am not looking forward to NY winters. We do not have a date for a move. It will depend on how fast we can sell our house. Which in this market is a little scary.

Details on baby #3: We are 13 weeks along and we do know that it is only one this time. He or she is due March 12th. Scott is hoping for March 19th which is St. Joseph's Day. We are not going to find out the sex ahead of time. The girls have no idea except that mommy has not been feeling very well. As with the girls, the first trimester has been a bit rough. Thank goodness for Daddy!

Well, I think that is it. A lot has changed, but all for the good.
