We left TN on Thursday, December 18th around 4:15pm. We arrived in Rochester NY the next morning at 6:30am, just two hours before a foot of snow fell. The girls were great on the trip considering they only slept an hour and a half out of a 13 hour drive. Thank goodness for DVD players and snacks! We spent the first two days recovering from the long drive and then we headed to Watertown, NY to spend a week with Scott's parents and family. We left Rochester Sunday at 9:30am and arrived in Watertown two hours before another storm hit. I guess we have driving around storms down pat. After all was said and done, Watertown had about 3 feet of snow. The girls wanted to play in the snow and make a snowman so badly, but the next few days were freezing...the temp never was above 10 degrees. Finally, on Wednesday (the 24th), we were able to go out and have some fun in the snow. Grandma and Grandpa St. Joseph gave them snow tubes and a snowman kit.
